"I started exercising regularly a few years ago. I loved the changes I started seeing in my body, feeling stronger, making new friends and feeling accomplished. I worked out through my entire pregnancy, but after I had my daughter I started finding excuses to not go. I didn’t like the way I felt and knew that getting back to the gym would lead to other healthy decisions I knew I needed to make.

You have to make the gym you habit. Even if its 30 minutes two or three times a week. That quickly turns into four or five days. And then you start to feel guilty when you miss 2 days in a row.

For me the Woman’s Gym has really helped keep me on track. I love the set-up; there is new equipment and programs like Beach Body coming in the door on a regular basis. It’s a safe, comfortable place to work out. The gym can be a very vulnerable place, however I have never felt that way at the Woman’s Gym."

Emily is a great example of a busy tottler mom who makes time for exercise rather than excuses. It’s easy for Emily because she focuses on how good her gym visits make her feel. That’s the key to establish a habit—focusing on what you’re gaining.

It’s really awesome to see Emily utilizing the Women’s Gym for the exact reasons I believed a women only gym would appeal to many women—a safe comfortable place to pursue fitness goals. Congrats Emily, and keep up the great work in the gym!
