“Two years ago, I injured my shoulder and decided if I was lighter I wouldn’t have hurt my shoulder so bad. So I came to Fit4Life and have been here almost two years. Seeing people who have been her longer than myself, helps me stick with it. The equipment her is top notch. I have set a goal for myself and I am slowly working toward it. Exercising is hard work, but well worth it!” -Mike Flaten

“When my husband started coming here two years ago, I felt left out, so on weekends I would come with him as his guest. I became hooked (and he got tired of paying separately for my visits) so we joined as a couple. I have truly been able to see and feel all the benefits of exercising on a regular basis. I look forward to my life long commitment to myself here at Fit4Life.” –Michelle Flaten

Exercise is about commitment. Sticking with it over the long haul. Not necessarily every day and every week, but sticking with it on a consistent basis. Mike and Michelle have done that. Mike is often the first one here on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I have also seen Michelle here more than once late on Friday nights when the gym is empty.

It’s finding time to get in here that creates success. So often I hear people give different excuses about how they’re too busy. What they really are saying is that exercise is not important enough to them to make and find the time. For Mike & Michelle, exercise IS important enough to find and make time for! Congratulations to Mike and Michelle and keep up the great work!
