"I joined Fit4Life in August 2012 for two reasons: To help me cope with the death of my husband, and also to strengthen my legs to prepare myself for a second knee replacement.
Working out at the gym helped me cope with the stresses of every-day living after my husband died. My physical therapy recovery time after knee replacement was much shorter than the first time.
I feel better physically and emotionally. I am down 2 sizes in my clothes and after only two weeks post-surgery I can walk normal. I go for walks, which I couldn’t do before surgery.
This past Spring I thought I was too busy to get my exercise in. What I realized is that I didn’t feel as well. So I got back into my workouts, thanks to my daughter Angie and my friend Karen who encouraged me to keep going.
I retired this past June from the school system after over 40 years. I hope to work part-time, but I know Fit4Life has to be a part of my retirement life. I’m 72 and I want to have many more years in a healthy and strong body."

Keep up the GREAT workouts in the gym Monica!
