Kammie Starrett

"Working at Fit4Life and having constant exposure to a fitness lifestyle inspired me to challenge myself and transform my physical appearance. I made the decision to make living a healthier lifestyle in January of 2008 a #1 priority in my life. I love the results! In addition to making healthy dietary changes, I lift weights 5 days a week and started running last year.

The benefits have been extremely satisfying. I no longer need to take blood pressure meds and my recent cholesterol screening resulted in perfect numbers! I turned 50 this past year and I feel better than I did when I was 25!

Thanks to all my Fit4Life friends for making my healthy lifestyle so fulfilling! I feel honored to be able to spend my days surrounded by positive and "strong" people!"

Kammie is a fantastic example for other women who have reached the milestone of 50. This is the age that the body starts to deteriorate at an accelerated rate and those that incorporate challenging exercise into their lives at this point can live a long and healthy life. Those that don't, find their health and bodyfat a frustrating & depressing part of their lives.

Working at Fit4Life, Kammie is automatically under scrutiny by others to "practice what we preach". It's great to see that Kammie is a fantastic example of what can be accomplished with the combined efforts of cardio, strength training and planned eating.

People think being healthy & fit takes a lot of time and effort-- the most common excuse is always "I don't have the time." But ask Kammie and she will tell you that it's not a problem to find and make the time if it's a priority. She and her training partner Ann start their workouts at 5:15am to make it fit into their schedules.

Now Kammie is passing on her knowledge and has started coaching and trainings others. Her passion for exercise and healthy eating will certainly help many people experience the personal rewards and satisfaction she has from her efforts in the gym and in the kitchen.

Congratulations Kammie and keep up the super work!
